New wave 2012 in Jurmala: opening ceremony

On change by it the first night came on stage Anna Semenovich, Vera Brezhneva and Alexander Revva. Permanent leading festival remained Lera Kudryavtseva, Sergey Lazarev and singer Ivan Dorn, who made his debut as host of the "New wave" in the past year.

In the first evening on the green carpet of the festival walked Dima Bilan, Yulia Volkova, Yana Rudkovskaya, Kristina Orbakaite, Ani Lorak, Diana Gurtskaya, Sergei Zverev, Iosif Kobzon, Tom Jones and other stars.

The contest will last five days, and the audience will have the opportunity to see not only the competition programme of young performers, but also performances of Russian and foreign stars. Ukraine in the competition is Maria Yaremchuk.
