The main role in the film played Ada Rogovtseva, Vitaliy linetskiy, George Khostikoyev, Artem Semakin, Ilya Isaev, Alexander Yatsenko and Elena Fisunenko, Mykola Oliynyk. The project also was marked by two acting debuts stars of Ukrainian show business Ivan Dorn and Dasha Astafieva.

"Lovers in Kiev" entered the top ten films at 86-th Russian International Film market, and the Odessa international film festival award of a name of Nikolay Shustov for the best Ukrainian film received short film Taras Tkachenko Dog waltz. At the festival in Bodega Bay (USA) received the award for the story of Olga of Gibelinda "Something". Also at the annual Ukrainian festival "Open night" top prizes took shorts Dog waltz Taras Tkachenko and "Hand" Director Oleg Borshevsky.

At the IX International festival of the Orthodox cinema "Intercession" Ada Rogovtseva and Nikolay Oleynik awarded for the best male and female roles in the story Dog waltz, and in Berdyansk international film festival in Love with Kyiv received the Grand Prix.
